And these are our new features….
Facebook Places and Nearby Chack-Ins
- 1. The upgraded Facebook widget available in mapping screen will allow you to find nearby friends and the check-ins nearby. You will also be able to check-in to the same place your friends checked-in too by a simple click.
- 2. Facebook places are now integrated in the search results. Very useful !!
GPS Lost behavior
Next time the GPS signal will be lost during navigation, a pop-up message will appear, and the route itinerary list will be shown automatically. When the GPS signal resumes – navigation from your current position will resume automatically as well.
Popular chains widgets
Wanna find where is the nearest Mcdonals or PizzaHut? Click on the branded widgets under the "Nearby" widget in the widgets carousel and you'll see the place directly on the map with its original branded logo. Please note- the data is not supported at all countries, although all the widget will appear on the widgets carousel.

Telmap5 V5.5
The main new feature in this version is Funny Voices: we have new cool Navigation Voice Themes for English UK and German speakers.
For English you may choose between 'Voice of God', 'Space Mission', 'Mini Me' or Kim Cattrall (Samantha jones from, Sex in the City).
For German you may choose between the voice of a lady called "Julie", a British Butler's voice and a Lion's voice.
We also have some fresh new content provides:

•ARC- new traffic provider, which provides live update traffic information.
•Kaufda – local deals & coupons provider. -
Italy -Yellow pages Pagine Gialle. -
France - Yellow pages PagesJaunes. -
Tel-Aviv - Tel-O-Fun- Bicycle rental service in the city.
Other features & Bug fixes (thanks for the feedbacks we got from the user group):
•Multi-touch map panning & zooming (You can zoom in/out the map with 2 fingers, and double-tap the map to focus the map, during map view) - only for android 2.1 and up.
•Telmap5 is welcoming Indonesian users to join our group.
•Permanent navigation status bar has been added to the navigation screen, which will constantly present: ETA/ETD, Distance to destination and progress along the route.

This new version has just been uploaded to our download site.
It includes:
1. Full language support across all platforms – English/French/Italian/German/
2. New Features like 'Find my car' and 'Social networks' (Facebook
& Twitter.
3. Enhanced nearby experience with known brands such as McDonalds , Starbucks, Pizza
Hut, Subway…
4. Premium content from various providers per country, e.g. 'Wozzon' event
guide in UK, 'Velib' bicycle locations in Paris, 'Rest' restaurant
guide in Israel etc...
**Few thing though -
- Branded icons may appear on application screen but may not be active for real
data - it is there to present general capabilities of the application for presale
purposes.
- Adds may appear on the screen, however those are 'dummy' ads.
- Support in US & Canada is not full. you may find yourself looking for place
in those areas, however no data will be found.

This new version has just been uploaded to our download site.
It does not contain any real feature enhancements - but mainly internal bug fixes.
One thing though - the Twitter widget icon in the carousel is now the right size.
Please note that the issue with advertising is still there - see below.
